What we collect when you visit this site or get in touch, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Last updated: 11 October 2026
The short version. We only collect what we need to reply to you and to see which of our ads work. We never sell your details. Our website does not send your name, phone number or email to Facebook, Instagram or Google. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing hello@futurestacks.online.
This website is run by FutureStack Limited (registration number PVT-KW13K5KV), Nairobi, Kenya. We build and run software systems for businesses, and we also run GarageStacks. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@futurestacks.online or on WhatsApp at +254 108 303 001.
For the personal data described here, FutureStack Ltd is the data controller under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
When you fill in our enquiry form, message us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, or email us, we keep what you send: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address if you give it, your business name and type, your team size, and what you want built.
When you visit this site we, and the advertising tools we use, collect technical information: which pages you looked at, the ad or link that brought you here (for example the campaign name in the web address), your browser and device type, and an approximate location based on your IP address.
| What we do | Our legal basis |
|---|---|
| Reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote or proposal, and follow up about it | Your consent, and the steps you asked us to take before a possible contract |
| Send you occasional tips or offers on WhatsApp | Only if you tick the box for it. Reply STOP at any time. |
| See which ads and pages bring enquiries, so we spend less on ads that don't work | Our legitimate interest in running our business, which you can object to (see section 8) |
| Keep business and tax records if you become a client | Legal obligation |
Your details are seen by our own team. We also use a few service providers who store or process data for us, and only for the purposes above:
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Meta, Google and ManyChat may store or process data outside Kenya. We use them because they protect data with recognised safeguards, such as contractual protections, as the Data Protection Act requires for transfers out of Kenya.
Our site and leads system use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access is limited to the people who need it, and we review who has access. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever have a breach that puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the Data Commissioner as the law requires.
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask us to:
Email hello@futurestacks.online and we'll respond as quickly as we can, within the time the law allows. If you're not happy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner at odpc.go.ke.
This site uses small files and browser storage to measure our ads:
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Meta Pixel | Tells Meta when someone visits a page, taps a WhatsApp, phone or email link, or sends an enquiry, so we can see which Facebook and Instagram ads work. It sets a cookie called _fbp. |
| Google Ads tag | Does the same for our Google ads, once switched on. It may set cookies such as _gcl_au. |
| fs_attr (browser storage) | Remembers which ad or link brought you here for 30 days, so your enquiry reaches us with that information. |
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can control the ads you see in your Facebook, Instagram and Google ad settings.
This site is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
The information on this site is general and may change. Prices, scope and timelines are only binding once they're in a signed proposal or contract. Links to other websites are there for convenience; we don't control those sites. These terms and this policy are governed by the laws of Kenya.
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
